I came here a couple of years ago and was blown away. The food was great, the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. This time. The people and the atmosphere were still very nice, but the food was mediocre at best and it took forever. The restaurant was at best half full, yet our order took almost 50 minutes to come out. My gyro was loaded up with condiments while the meat was clearly warmed up from frozen and the whole thing was greasy. When we were finally served everyone that ordered gyro received it wrapped up in foil as if we were at a roadside stand and it was accompanied on the plate with a single rough cut carrot. I should have taken a picture to post with this review, it was laughable. I didn't know if the carrot was a garnish, part of the dish, or a particularly odd joke.I'm not going back. Either the standards have slipped, or the just don't want my business.

Food was so delicious!

I lived in Greece as a kid and have been yearning for well prepared, authentic Greek dishes (beyond gyros!) since I left. FOUND THEM! Olives has an impressive menu of Greek goodies, prepared with fresh ingredients and the service is great as well. Opa!

They need to learn how to treat employees. The head cook is just plain rude and disrespecful.

Decent food but didn't have malt vinegar for fish and chips. Shouldn't be a big deal to have a bottle available. This is a standard offering even if most people don't want it.

Truely grest authentic experience. The staff is super friendly. They have Greek wine and their gyros are really good with a vast selection. They only do cash just a heads up

The food is AMAZING!! I’m very picky about Greek cuisine because it can be too salty. Not the case here. Food is fresh and melts in your mouth without killing you on the salt!! Highly recommend!

Went there with a couple friends and ordered the Greek salad. When it came, it only had one small olive in it! The server said they are getting their olives in tomorrow, which is ridiculous. You would think she would have told me while I was ordering it. My friends enjoyed their meals though, so I gave it two stars instead of one.

I've always enjoyed this little spot! Everything I've ever ordered from here was always enjoyable. I've only dined at the restaurant a couple of times, but they've been pleasant experiences. Only downfall is that it is cash only. They do have an ATM inside though. It's location is great because it is in the village of Pittsford, in Schoen place right on the canal. It's nice to dine outside and then go for an easy walk down the canal. Also, Pittsford dairy is within walking distance!

Great food for a warm day!

This place has delicious, fresh Greek food! I got a spicy gyro and everything was perfectly seasoned and cooked! The place is spotless and super clean, and the interior of the restaurant is cozy-- truly a great spot to get lunch/dinner with friends and family. The owner, Suzanne is a gem!!

What a gem! The best gyro I've had in days! They have excellent vegetarian options for that hippie family member 🤣 If you see the photos I'm posting, the food is partially eaten because it was so good! The spiced feta and olive oil fries are just crazy. Their baklava chocolate ice cream should be covered by obscenity laws. It's a joyous sinful treat!

Intimate Greek dining with good variety of traditional menu items.

Our waitress Marnique was spectacular. She knows everything about Authentic Greek cuisine and is very very attractive. I recommend this place to all.

Sat outside on the stonework patio at a wrought iron table. This treasure or a restaurant is tucked away off the very end of Schoen Place on State St. The food was incredible. I had the Gyro Platter. The meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The rice was plump and soft. The tzatziki was creamy and tasty. It complimented the dolmades perfectly. I finished with the rice pudding; creamy, smooth, sift rice pieces, and a sprinkle of cinnamon sugar on top. Not ashamed to say that I finished all of my food. Bring cash. No cards accepted.

Perfect for a quick bite or take out. Servers are very friendly. Rated 4 stars only because I rarely carry cash and they don't take credit.

Alex is one of the most consistently great restaurants that I visit in the Rochester area. They have your standard Greek style menu with gyros and hummus and pita all in all it's a great restaurant. Normally when I go there I get the spicy feta gyro and again I've never had a bad meal there.
